The Shania Kids Can Clubhouse in Regina was very excited to start January 2018 off with a bang! Returning to school after Christmas break, each student did the activity, ‘a new year, a new me’, where they set academic goals, personal goals and a goal to make their community better in some way. This month the boys and girls split up for some separate programming! The boys made mini foosball tables while the girls made bath bombs. It’s yet to be determined if girls rule and boys drool or vice versa! For the first time ever SKC went skating! A special shout out goes to Constance and Kaleb for trying so hard and getting back up after every fall! Cruz, Mickey and Lloyd were flying around the ice- watch out NHL, SKC has some future stars in the making! Students also enjoyed a day of swimming and some games in the Clubhouse together. The proudest and greatest moment of this month was watching some of the SKC students volunteer with sick children in hospice. Way to go, SKC!
