October was an exciting month in the Regina SKC Clubhouse! The month was filled with kindness, celebrating holidays and learning a lot of new things! The students initiated a pay it forward activity in the spirit of thanksgiving, to create treat bags for terminally ill children to be delivered to the hospital. A lovely thanksgiving lunch was held in the Clubhouse, with students incorporating the idea of cultivating the attitude of gratitude with joy jars! Shania Kids headed to the Regina Boxing Club, a staple within the community, to improve fitness and learn boxing skills! Many students discussed how learning the boxing skills have added to more positive self-esteem.  Students partook in more challenging and fun science experiments making circuits with the EYES (Educating Youth on Engineering and Science) program. The highlight of the month was heading outside of the city to Pumpkin Hollow corn maze- thankfully no one got lost!
