It has been a busy fall for the Shania Kids at Irwin Memorial Public School in Dwight, Ontario. We have prepared many healthy snacks including the whole wheat mini pizzas pictured with Gracie and Natasha. We also prepared whole wheat César wraps as you can see with Kaden. This fall, we have also been doing what we can to be kind, and give back to the community. We visited a food bank close by, and stocked shelves, sorted food and swept as well as learned about the other services offered to the community. During “Kindness Week” here at Irwin, we wrote Christmas Cards and sent them to Canadian Armed Forces Members. Our group pictures (by Debbie Bradley Photography) happened to fall on a school-wide Pajama Day. For our last project in December, we are wrapping tissue boxes in Christmas paper and delivering them to residents at a local Nursing Home.
